At the moment I’m putting such a lot of analogue street
photographs up from the very inspiring La Boqueria in Barcelona this is because it is one of my favorite places.
Before taking this image I watched this lady for a while using quite a large knife. She used the knife like an artist would use a paintbrush, oblivious to her surroundings.
I felt compelled to take this image using a shutter speed of 60th second to show movement in those skillful hands. Camera was a Fuji GS 645 S Professional with a fixed 60mm lens, Film was Ilford HP5 Plus 400 asa, Processed in Ilford ID11.
